Credit Card
The use of credit cards is a large revenue driver significantly improving compliance. Inexperience or failure to deliver proven credit card systems and processes will significantly undermine revenues. Credit card reader problems and delays in processing card payments can result in lost revenue.
Credit card payment functionality also enables the development of discretionary pricing as users can be individually identified through their credit card details. This provides Council with a simple method of managing locally run permit schemes, for example, residents permit schemes that provide free or heavily discounted parking for rate payers. The use of a credit card payment option allows Council to develop differential pricing structures to benefit local residents, with credit card numbers providing an identification facility. All alternate payment options offered by Reino International are fully compliant with relevant Australian and international standards and guidelines for operation and security. Blacklisted and/or expired credit card details can be uploaded via ReinoNet allowing the detection of invalid cards during meter transactions.
